The sports news online that was published by todayng on 31st October 2017 stated that the Nigeria Judo Federation would hold an open championship in the city of Benin. The commencement was dated from 13th December to 17th December 2017.
Davies Oludare - the secretary general of Nigeria Judo federation also made a clear speech on the same note, stating that the championship will be featuring all categories including institutions, clubs, team, paramilitary and militaries alike.
